Are you keeping score?
Best-in-class businesses all have one thing in common: the ability to predict outcomes using data.
But understanding what you really need to know, locating that data, and shaping it to tell a story is not easy.
Most small businesses struggle with these common dashboarding issues:
- You don’t know what data is needed to make predictions
- You have too many KPIs instead of the few core KPIs
- You have too many data sources
- You aren’t tracking KPIs at all
- You don’t have technology to collect and shape data
- You don’t have a reliable process that makes it all work

How do we do it? Smart Process.
First, we have a Data Workshop where we explore the data the business is tracking today, the frequency they capture that data and discuss it, as well as the ease of recording that data on a regular basis.
As part of the workshop, we work to define department and company measurables that are achievable to capture in the current state without automation or new software. This gives actionable insights before we engage in a project that will take the business to the next level.
Second, we perform a Data Assessment to understand the systems the business uses and the ease to automate data movement from the source systems to display in a visually pleasing scorecard.
This assessment also reports issues that may exist with current technology or software that might prevent accurate, regular automation from being able to feed the scorecard.
Third, the outcome of the Data Assessment gives the business a proposal on what it takes to build a complete scorecard across all of the data sources and help operationalize best data practices to promote trusted results in the new scorecard.
Some projects can be completed in as little as 90 days!
Finally, we partner with you as questions arise about why data may be presented or displayed in a way that was unanticipated and what can be done to improve results ongoing.
A scorecard should mature quarter over quarter and as systems are replaced and we can help businesses as these natural evolutions happen.
